So it’s coming to the end of the Easter term and for some this means kiddies go back to school! And with some it also means they’re adding the finishing touches to some Home DIY (or mourning over the fact they have lost the time to do so).
Those of us in the UK Business world might also be preparing end of year accounts or starting the prep work ready for for when the letters come from HMRC. It’s always good practise to keep on top of your books throughout the year and larger businesses tend to have no problems with this. However, smaller businesses are usually run by family people that may have other commitments and worries, and then when it comes to the end of their tax year or doing their self-assessments, it’s normally a rush and very stressful.
If I was running a non-accountancy business I would most definitely have someone separate to keep my books and sort that side of things out – it would allow me to focus purely on my business and my family.
Did you know I offer free first-time consultations? Drop me a message or email for further information and advice!
I am back with a vengeance!
Things haven’t been great for me health-wise but I’m getting back on track with that and getting back on my game with my Bookkeeping Services. My lovely logo was designed by DP Marketing Communications who are a great small business that target other small businesses to help boost their presence. I HIGHLY recommend you have a look here! I’m pleased to say that in doing this I have potentially gained two more clients!
How is everyone else doing? I’m seeing more and more small businesses emerging each week and it made me think: “That’s what I want to focus on.” Because I do this as a side to my main employment, I’m not overly concerned with making a massive amount of money (obviously some extra spending money is great). But I would rather provide a personal service and help someone who is trying to pay their bills or make sure their children don’t go without, than to help a very well off Director to pay for a lovely yacht or second holiday home.
I think that’s a very important thing, especially in this day and age.
It would be great to hear from you guys and get your thoughts and opinions on both my logo and focus!
For most, the end of June can be quite a busy month; monthly reports are being completed and for the larger businesses, the half-year chaos is already setting in.
If you need a helping hand with paperwork and reports, and you’d like to be enjoying this (rare) summer weather, drop me a PM or email!
I’d also like to mention that HMRC are doing a Q&A via twitter for Tax Credits so if you have any queries, send them a tweet @HMRCgovuk
Firstly, apologies for my lack of posting in recent days.
Saturday may be the day that most people catch up with their week’s paperwork and especially with it being month-end, some may be busier than usual. So allow me to make a shameless plug and remind you of the services I offer. Not only do I offer support for any issues and maintenance with your PC – but I can also be that person to do that boring, paperwork for you.
As it is the Aviva Rugby Final (COYS!), you should be enjoying this amazing sporting day and have some time for yourself. If you want to be part of the masses, sitting back, shouting at the TV then please get in touch.
